Seek learning

The career improvement arm of job hunting site Seek, Seek Learning aims to inspire and empower people to improve their career prospects via eductation. Representing serveal major mature education providers in a single site. Seek approached Reactive to help them better represent themselves in the digital space.
Part of the site success was in thanks due to the close collaboration between the Reactive team and Seek's internal user experience team. This had the effect of ensuring the site felt part of the Seek family but also ensured the Seek team would be equipt to pick ups the site once the initial developmet by Reactive was complete.
Both users and Seek Learning consultants were interviewd extensivelly in preperation for redeveloping the site. All agreed it was important for the site to feel friendly, approachable and "like a consultant" itself. This goal was taken into account from the basic site structure up.
The modular approach used in developing the wireframes was extended to the design process. Page modules were saved as seperate files and could be included and updated as needed.
To ensure the friendly & approachable feel, bespoke photography was commissioned to ensure the faces displayed on the site were genuine. In most cases the subjects of the photos were individuals engaged with mature age learning.

I’ve been creating parts of the internet for more than 15 years and I’m completely in love with the digital medium.
